Terms of Trade
Welcome to Daju Beddings & Beyond. These Terms of Trade govern the purchase and sale of products offered on our website and through any other sales channel operated by Daju Beddings & Beyond (“we,” “our,” or “us”) within Uganda and internationally. By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Trade.

We make every effort to display our products accurately. However, colours may vary slightly due to photographic lighting or device screen settings. We reserve the right to modify product specifications without prior notice.
3. Orders
3.1 How to Place an Order

3.2 Order Confirmation
After placing your order, you will receive a confirmation email or message. This serves as an acknowledgment, not acceptance. Orders are accepted when we receive payment (for prepaid orders) or confirm delivery for cash-on-delivery orders.
3.3 Custom Orders
For custom orders (e.g., specific sizes, embroidery, color themes), full payment is required upfront. We will share a timeline for delivery, and once in production, custom orders cannot be canceled.
4. Pricing and Payment
4.1 Currency
All prices are listed in Ugandan Shillings (UGX). For international buyers, prices may be quoted in USD or other currencies as agreed.
4.2 Pricing Policy
Prices are subject to change without notice. However, the price confirmed at the time of placing your order will be honored.
4.3 Accepted Payment Methods

4.4 Payment Terms

Retail Orders: Full payment is required before dispatch, except for cash-on-delivery.

Wholesale Orders: A minimum deposit (usually 50%) is required upon order confirmation; balance payable before dispatch.

International Orders: 100% payment upfront via acceptable international transfer methods.
5. Delivery and Shipping
5.1 Delivery Locations

Within Uganda: We deliver to all major towns and cities via our delivery team or courier partners.

East Africa & International: We ship to Rwanda, Kenya, South Sudan, and other countries on request using reputable couriers (DHL, FedEx, Aramex, etc.)
5.2 Delivery Timeline

Kampala & surrounding areas: 1–2 business days

Upcountry Uganda: 2–4 business days
-
East Africa & International: 4–10 business days (subject to customs)
Note: Custom-made orders may require an extended timeline, which will be communicated in advance.
5.3 Shipping Charges
Shipping costs are calculated based on location, weight, and size of the order. Charges will be confirmed during checkout or when placing an order directly with a sales representative.
5.4 Risk of Loss
All risk passes to the buyer upon delivery. We are not liable for any delays or damages caused during shipping by third-party couriers. However, we will assist in resolving such issues where possible.
6. Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds
6.1 Eligibility
You may request a return or exchange if:

The product is defective or damaged upon delivery

The wrong product or size was delivered

The item is unused, in original packaging, and returned within 3 days (for local orders)
6.2 Non-Returnable Items

Used or washed products

Items returned beyond the stipulated return window
6.3 Return Process

Provide photos and explanation of the issue.

Once approved, return instructions will be shared.

On inspection, an exchange or refund will be processed.
Return shipping costs are borne by the buyer unless the error was ours.
6.4 Refunds
Refunds (where applicable) will be processed within 5–10 business days via the original payment method.
7. Warranty and Product Care
Our beddings are made to high standards, and we provide a limited warranty of 30 days for manufacturing defects. This excludes:

Damage from mishandling or misuse
Care Instructions are included with every product and must be followed to maintain product quality.
8. Wholesale & Bulk Orders
We offer competitive prices and custom solutions for bulk buyers including:

Minimum quantities apply. A formal quotation, lead times, and contract terms will be provided upon inquiry.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including images, designs, logos, and product descriptions, are the property of Daju Beddings & Beyond. Unauthorized reproduction or use without our written permission is strictly prohibited.
10. Privacy and Data Protection
We collect customer data solely for order fulfillment and communication purposes. We will never sell or share your information with third parties without consent. Read our Privacy Policy for full details.
11. Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure to fulfill our obligations due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, war, strikes, lockdowns, pandemics, or courier delays.
12. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms of Trade shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda. Any disputes arising shall be handled first through amicable negotiations. If unresolved, they shall be submitted to competent courts in Uganda.
